Over the course of my career as a clinician, I’ve worked in the public health system as both an addictions counsellor and a psychologist before transitioning into private practice.
Building a private practice brought tremendous growth — along with challenges you can’t learn in graduate school. Navigating complex ethical situations, creating sustainable systems, and stepping into the role of both clinician and business owner required intention, resilience, and ongoing reflection.
Over time, I built a thriving, sustainable practice grounded in strong ethics and high-quality client care. I believe clinicians can build practices that are both ethically sound and financially sustainable — without burning out.
I offer consultation for therapists seeking thoughtful, practical support as they grow, refine, or navigate challenges in their work. Whether you’re facing a clinical dilemma, an ethical question, or a business decision, consultation provides focused time to gain clarity and move forward with confidence.
I bring professionalism, real-world experience, and a sense of humour to the process. There’s no judgment here — just steady support from someone who understands the realities of this work.
Consultation is available virtually or in person.
Consultation is a collaborative, peer-based professional service. It is designed to support reflective thinking, ethical decision-making, and practice development.
Consultation is not clinical supervision, nor does it replace regulatory or workplace supervision requirements. Responsibility for client care and clinical decision-making remains with the treating clinician.
This consultation service is for psychologists, social workers, Canadian Certified Counsellors, and other clinicians working in agency, community, public health, or private practice settings.
Whether you’re early in your career and looking to build confidence, or a seasoned clinician wanting thoughtful space to think through complex clinical, ethical, or practice-related decisions, consultation offers steady, practical support.
If you’re doing meaningful, nuanced work with people and value professionalism, growth, and sustainability, this space is for you.
Some clinicians come with a specific clinical or ethical question. Others want space to think strategically about their practice, refine systems, or navigate a professional transition. We may focus deeply on one issue or move through several interconnected concerns within a session.
